Check Button Down

We found this fabric from our New York textile supplier Zentex. Traditionally Zentex is more fashion-centric, but when I found this 90% modal/10% silk blend and the super light weight, I had to get a sample of it. This fabric is so light, so smooth, and the fact that it's made from sustainable beech trees makes it all the more better a selection to use for a check shirt. We tested prototypes in 2018 across a variety of uses with a focus on hot climates. The feedback was super positive. And we tested for UPF protection, and even at the light weight of 99 gsm or 3.49 ozs per square meter, it has a UPF of 30. This is the shirt for hot days - whether inside or out.
